: Gravitons (gravitinos) are the the theoretical quantum particles that carry the gravitational force. They have never been detected and will remain that way for a very long time and so far we have not been able to find a quantum theory of gravity, but we do know that gravity IS quantized. Just how a photon carries electromagnetic energy, a gravitino would carry gravitatoinal energy. |
