Black Holes And Gravitons

Check this out. It occured to me tonight sat here that if gravitons exist and so do black holes then the gravitons initial velocity must be greater than the speed of light. Thats because the escape velocity of a black hole is the speed of light, and the graviton escapes the hole to exert a force. So there you go. Is this something new? Have i surprised anyone? Am I Right? I'm not a physicist or even a scientist. Get back to me if you have any follow ups. Cheers Mike |
