Dear Libby and Lindsey, There exist many examples of black hole candidates in our universe. For example, there is evidence that a black hole exists at the core of M32 where stars are only light weeks apart and moving at speeds that should send them flying away from the core, but they're not. The only explanation is that the gravity of a 3 million solar mass object is keeping them in place, and the only thing that could ever do this would be a black hole. This is only one of 100's and maybe even 1000's of examples so far observed by astronomers. There is even evidence that a black hole exists at the centre of our own Milky Way galaxy. If you don't mind, I would like to know about the relatonship between God and black holes that you have been talking about in class. Thankyou....
