So it the lenght contraction just an illusion? If an object with mass is approaching the speed of light it's energy is being increased. Therefore it's mass is being increased too. And also, the fact is that from the frame of reference (some 'stationary' point, for example Earth), that object looks shorter. But if you observe stationary point(earth) from that object, it appears like the earth had shorthened. So, what in reality has shortened? Or is this relative like that absolute path doesn't exist? of course you can't say that something is absolutley moving on line or parabola... Another point, when object with mass is approaching speed of light (let's say 0.999999c) it's third dimension in the direction it's moving disappears. Please help :) |
