Why is a black hole funnel-shaped? Shouldn't it be more 3-D? Why isn't the event horizon a sphere, pulling in objects from all directions????

: The reason for the 'funnel-shaped' is that the : density within is so much greater then any : other object near its 'center of mass' that the : blackhole 'seems' to be sucking objects inward : causing the funnel-shaped... like a tornado
