Bohr's equations and assumptions about an atom are correct, except when you get to very small energies or very small space, that's where quantum mechanics is used and where Shrodinger's equations prove most usefull. For a group of a ton of atoms, i.e. mole, Bohr's equations do work. Schrodinger's equations are almost impossible to integrate when a lot of atoms or electrons are present in the system being studied.
