: We could all make up theories till the cows come home, but what leads you to exist that "discrete" space or time exists? I am sure you know that gravity distorts spacetime. About 1% of spacetime is distorted to create planets, galaxies. Matter don't exist in space, matter is spatialy extended (ever heard of Einstein???). So in other words, where you have matter you have distorted spacetime. It works on atomic level too, as long as you have matter (atom is matter). That is one type of gravity (gravity B). But if you now zoom into atom, you'll find another type of gravity(known as strong nuclear force) that holds up protons and neutrons. As you may assume, that gravitiy is much stronger force than gravity B, but it barely extends beyond atom's nucleus. Now when you combine gravity A(nuclear) and gravity B, you'll get some kind of interference(gravity is a wave) that will couse this dicrete movement(it will (does) "pixelize" space). "Pixelize" is definitely the wrong word for it, I prefer "quantize". So if all of your cows got home, you are hopefully understanding this. ;O) |
