: I have two questions about relativity and black holes: : 1. How did Einstein proof that nothing can move faster than c , where can I find the proof. : 2. I see a black hole as a quantity of mass, moving faster than c , so we can't see it. Is this true or not. I can't give you the mathmaticals on this. But you're first question is right and wrong. No "matter", or nothing with mass can move beyond the speed of light because at that point it becomes pure energy. There are phases to matter just as water can become Ice and steam, matter at one point becomes pure energy. You can on the other hand move "non" matter energy faster than light. I can't tell you who accomplished this but I saw it on the discovery channel so maybe look on thier website. ques 2: A black hole doesn't go faster than light. It only "Bends" light into the center of it. |
