Barish Instability Hypothesis

According to Barish, if you add energy to any stable system it will become unstable for a period of time. If this is so, all you need to do is add energy to an orbiting photon and it WILL leave orbit. The question is how to add energy. I hypothesize, for simplicity's sake, sending a mirrored ball with a non-linear trajectory into the black hole. The energy not directed directly into the black hole will be added to anything it encounters. Voila. Light from a black hole. And the history of the universe displayed. |
