when we make a measurement and acertain that an entity has wavelike properties or acertain that an entity has particlelike properties those results are dependent on how we make the measurement not the "differential" velocity involved.
it would though be easier experimentaly to obtain a diffraction pattern for an electron as opposed to a billiard ball and it would be easier experimentaly to measure the transfer of momentum of colliding billiard balls than the transfer of momentum of colliding electrons.
