: : It is my belief that black holes are the begining and the end of large areas of the universe, but when viewed in the perspective of and infinite distance in all possible directions, can be viewed as a small but important piece of the machinary. : : I go on to say that if the universe is in fact infinite, then there is an infinite and constantly changing number of an infinite variety of possibilities at and point. UH, that is if there is such a thing as a point (HA! HA!). : : Anyway, if we are not wiped out instantly by a black hole the size of our known universes bounderies speeding toward it's compliment and engulfing us, and you are interested in discussion, e-mail me and let me pick your processor. : : Thanks, Billy (Caveman)

: i would like to join the discussion though i am a student and do not much knowledge about these things but astronomy and cosmology have been my favourite side subjects i would like to ask that when we say that energy is quatifiable and we explain the big bang by expansion and contraction which are limited itself then i dont seem to understand why and how can the universe be infinte when the matter it is composed of and all the laws that we describe about are finite ,, : i hope it is not a silly question may be my lack of knowledge has pursued me to ask this question : thanking you in anticipation..

Hi Mir, silly questions and silly thoughts are what set us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom! I am new to all this black hole stuff myself, but it seems to me that science accepts to much as factual. I think the Nothingness of the universe is infinite, but the matter/energy is finite, although spead out . Also this idea that all matter could be condensed at one place and time sounds impossible, a better reasoning would be that, yes big bangs occur, but it is from black holes colliding. I gotta go, late for class again, There is other stuff on this forum that reveal my reasoning. I don't get to mess on the INET much so I'll see you whenever :) Billy/WEM/magarowicz etc...
