| 11 Dimensional String Theory, M-theory And Loop Quantum Gravity

I just have a couple of questions about the above-mentioned topics. Firstly, with the 11 dimensional string theory how would te movement of strings in 11 dimension affect our world? Secondly, what does M stand for in the M-theory? and finally does anyone know where i can find info on LQG that would not be written with an overwhelming using of equations as i'm only 16. Thanks,
