You left out the part about the predictions of things that had not been observed and were proved true even though the majority of our forefathers were laughing at him.

As a matter of fact he has been dead for quite a while and people are still arguing with his ideas... and lousing the argument when the data is checked.

I know because I have lost a few arguments with him myself.

It would seem that the our intuition is misleading us.
