Let me see if I have the nomenclature correct.

D=distance

d=delta=change

Then, the formula should look like:

(Dab)*(Dab)*(dDab)/(dt*dt) is proportional to gravitational mass.

The volume you seek is the sphere with radius Dab. This sphere is expanding. The rate of change of the sphere is what is commonly called gravity and also is the definition of time. If masses a and b do not seem to be getting closer it is because they are moving apart at a rate that equals their expansion.
