Let say we have two masses a abd b.

Each is a solid sphere of radius Ra and Rb

Each has a volume equal to (4*pi/3)* R^3

The distance from mass a to mass b is Dab

The volume is your derivation is

(Dab)*(Dab)*(d/dt)*(Dab)*dt

There are three different volumes calculated above. Which one are you talking about?
