There are many books on cosmology, but I have yet to see a good one. I learned mostly from classes. A good book on the history (but not the math) is "Cosmology and Controversy" by Helge Kragh. Other books I've used include "Cosmological Inflation and Large-Scale Structure" by Liddle and Lyth and "Cosmological Physics" by John Peacock. Finally, a good book for general astronomy stuff (including a little cosmology) is "Modern Astrophysics" by Bradley Carroll and Dale Ostlie.
