and how the LIGO interferometer will dectect such phenomena. This project will probably be added to Edwin Taylor and John Wheeler's intro to GR, 'Exploring Black Holes' at the next printing. The end of the project discusses PSR1913+16. Check out the project and make a guess for the answer to Query 9, part B. Just for fun.

If anybody is interested I can link to several other projects from this great intro. A project on GR and the GPS and a project on the Kerr geometry (spinning black holes).
