Hi Ray,
If you are trying to keep me out of trouble by
counterbalancing what seems to be a skew in something I have posted, it's appreciated
and who knows -- by working that thread you
might keep one of the newbies from assuming too much.
Do you agree that most of us have ancestors who
used bows and arrows or a similarly clever tool, and also slept outdoors?
I guess invention proceeds by other than IQ
and folks with excellent hard-wiring can be defeated militarily by folks with less good hardwiring, if the brainiacs are not willing to
manage from a position of strength.
The main problem with being too liberal is when
it is not sustainable. Being too generous lets
stinginess win a war and set in permanently.
I don't mean thrift. I mean a pervasive, hard-heartedness of culture and social roles
that keeps a land poor when there's nobody to oppress them.
Do you agree? In what degree? Or want to stick to physics?

Mike

I'd hate to be put to a chimpanzee's IQ test, say like spending the night naked in a jungle, to see what my survival potential is.

With a little luck, maybe they'd consider me an interesting project, and try to teach me their language.

I wonder what level of intelligence was required to invent the bow and arrow;- in an age of cave-dwellers?
