Check out a book called 'The Big Bang Never Happened'

It has another theory for the CBR. Don't wory, it's actually science and not some crackpot. The theory he proposes is even more screwed up than the big bang. He thinks the universe is infinate in all directions including time.

Even if you think he's full of it, the book is worth a read. I had no idea how many problems the Big Bang theory had untill I read that book. I don't know if I believe the authors theory but he sure made me question our current concepts of the universe.
