Al,

You've confused even your own wrath on this one:

Had you not specified Americans, I'd see that you've stuck to your guns about relativity (which you must claim is imaginary), but now I'm wondering if this is this a jab at Americans (your other source of vitriol).

But the answer is obvious: Newton works for familiar measurements. Same reason we don't use Vernier calipers to measure swimming pools.

Give me a break.
