....That it was an unknown clerk in some Swiss patent office, who mailed in a document concerning his thoughts on how to resolve the paradox that arrises in Newtonian mechanics (highschool math in some respects), and Maxwell's derived speed of electromagnetic propogation.

All it took was a little curiosity, and some study in mathematics, to give rise to one of the greatest intellectual feats mankind has ever seen. With that simple document, 19th century physics was overthrown........ the "amateur angler (of his day)" sparked a scientific revolution.....
