The Anthropic Principle (or Anthropic Reasoning) is a fertile playground for philosophers. The Weak and Strong sides both have supported years of thought, and if you are interested in the possible link of observers and universes, or cosmology in general, you should do a bit of research into this topic. I'm sure your philosophy teachers would LOVE to talk about the Anthropic Principle, provided you inform them of its implications.
Happy Hunting!
