Hi Beth,
Slow down my friend,think on this.
A pulsar sends out a beam of light like a
searchlight beacon,so it is written in all books on astronomy,think of yourself as an independent observer,observing the configuration of light from a pulsar 2 mil light yrs away,spinning at one rev per sec,what is the configuration of the light?On another topic,can you grasp the concept of the three dimensional gravity well of a black hole?Have you ever seen anything but a two dimensional image?If you are interested Beth,would enjoy your company.
