It is possible to both believe in God and accept the explanations of science. The only conflict is over some literal interpretations of scruiptures. But scriptures can be interpreted in many ways. And scientific theories are updated when new data are obtained. The human journey goes on. Science, in many people's opinions, is humanity's best tool for understanding the Universe (or, the "Creation").
