The theory that red or blue "shift" is related to what is observed listening to passing vehicles neglects the more obvious observation with passing traffic; that it makes less noise approaching than leaving. Red and blue shifting stars should have diameters that are in error according to their apparent direction shouldn't they?

So how do you make accurate calculations with hypothese, theories and errata?
