so physics says that the earths orbit will not change regardless of the amount of gravity pulling on it from whatever the larger mass in the center is?
i have heard that the radius of the earths orbit is decreasing because of the gravitational pull of the sun. is this true or false? i obviously do not remember the source that it came from, but i do know that since i havent taken physics i have never been sure of the answer.
