Quantum And Classical Models Of Gravity.

I (and no one) has any satisfactory "mechanical theory of gravity" (beyond general relativity) so far.

There are a few hypotheses of what quantum gravity might be, however. If you visit major physics journals (many are on-line) you'll find them. There are even some "classical" models of gravity out there.
