: : I am looking for information on using the spin of a black : : as a enery source. Is there any books, papers, web sites : : that anyone would suggest to get some further infomation.

: Black Holes don't spin! There aren't any!

Yes they do! Black holes are characterized by three quantities, regardless of what they have been formed from, namely mass, charge, and spin (or momentum). Otherwise they would contradict the rules of conservation of energy and angular momentum.

It must be remembered that black holes are not nothing! They just don't let us get any information out ouf them.
