in my astronomy class(100 lvl) i have been taught that around 90% of the universe is made up of dark matter and/or W.I.M.P's. i would like to know if the dark matter that we have described pertains to the stuff we look through say for instance when we look at the moon. is all the stuff in between us and the moon dark matter or does dark matter come in pockets spread out here and there throughout the universe?
