Travel through wormholes is theorectically possible but as mentioned by Mr. Jensen what looks good on paper is more often than not improbable. The issue of controling the destination of a whole is one that is even more theoretical than actual travel throuugh a wormhole and untill we have a map of sorts as to where we are going it will be almost impossible to determine.

Wormholes are like black holes in the fact that they have an event horizion, immense gravtational forces etc but they have one fundemental difference they do not have a singularity and are of sufficiant mass to delay or not cause the spagettification proccess which theoretically occurs to all matter before it reaches the singularity.

Therefore the lack of a singularity means that matter is not composted to infinte volume, but rather that if a hole can be generated on the arrival site to meet the hole from our universe half way a dimensional space/time corridor can be created
