[(Telluric Four Sextent)]

Telluric current also called(EARTH CURRENT), natural electric current flowing on and beneath the surface of the
Earth and generally following a direction parallel to the Earth's surface. Telluric currents arise
from charges moving to attain equilibrium between regions of differing electric potentials; these
differences in potential are set up by several conditions, including very low-frequency
electromagnetic waves from space, particularly from the magnetosphere incident upon the
Earth's surface, and moving charged masses in the ionosphere and the atmosphere. Telluric
currents are often used by geophysicists to map subsurface structures, such as sedimentary
basins, layered rocks, and faults. An anomalous current density or gradient may be indicative
of a subsurface structural feature.

Compactification Problem. The Effective Signature Problems - Why is the metric of signature 2 (Lorentzian)? Physicists can be divided into three major categories (with some overlapping) according to their view of the problems: Optimists - "The problems are fundamental and the current (very successful) paradigm will eventually solve them". Pragmatists - "The problems are important, but the solutions are not desperately needed as long as the current
paradigm works". Pessimists - "The problems may have no solution within Gauge-Grassmannian Physics: many have tried (including
several boy-geniuses). The situation begins to resemble the Black Body Radiation vs Classical Physics(Not to mention all dark matter is cold atoms where space time is slow-bkparque)
conflict". The Pessimists point out that the theory is studied well enough to see that there is no automatic compactification machanism,
so observable d=4; sig=2 remain axioms. These axioms are implicitly used in a typical Optimist's solution attempt which
has the standard form: spacetime is 4d because only in 4d a certain condition X is satisfied (the Optimists usually do not
even address the Effective Signature Problem). The Pessimists consider this not a solution of the 4d problem but a mere
statement about uniqueness of 4d with respect to X. They argue that it is already well established that 4d is unique in many
respects - the Question is Why?. The Pessimists believe the main cause for the confusion is that the problems are not posed
with sufficient rigor (say, topology level) , and some formal "pregeometric" concepts logically prior to physics may be
required. Currently the only solution of the Four-Dimensionality Problem published in physics literature is due to a pessimist ,
yours truly, Vladimir Trifonov, "A Linear Solution of the Four-Dimensionality Problem", EUROPHYSICS LETTERS
32 (8), 1995, pp. 621-626 (if you know of any other solutions, please give me a buzz). The paper presents the first
rigorous formulation of the problem,
based on a classification of the
Heyting algebras of the observer's
topoi of M-systems. It also offers a
solution of the Effective Signature
Problem (which, btw, may be related
to the Problem of Time), giving a
curious reconstruction of Special
Relativity out of category-theoretic
principles. Roughly, the Answer is this: spacetime is perceived 4d and Lorentzian because the operational logic of the
observer is bivalent Boolean. The paper contains a self-destruction test predicting a rather special cosmological model - the
funnel cosmology with =crit (the universe opens up in time, spacelike hypersurface still being compact) and
SU(2)xR+ shape (funnel), with accelerating expansion. The integration over the Funnel is noncommutative (Haar), which,
btw, may have some relation to the non-Newtonian behavior of galaxies and clusters (the dark matter effect) - see Haar
Measure and Geodesics in Funnel Cosmology. Among other interesting results are automatic generation of the standard Hilbert structure of Quaternionic Quantum
Mechanics, and, especially intriguing: classical mathematics (i.e. the topos of sets) does not appear to be the natural math of
