The Relativistic calculation also works for finite initial energy:

E = m c^2 - GMm/r = E0 (with E0 finite)

=> 1 - GM/(r c^2) = E0/(m c^2) -> 0 as v -> c

=> r = GM/(c^2)

So the radius of the relativistic event horizon appears to be independent of initial position or speed. It appears to be dependent only on the mass of the black hole.
