I am aware of the possibility of wormholes etc. I do not know who first came up with the idea but they are mentioned in Gravitation by Misner et al. Wheeler was talking about them in the late sixties. Blackholes and wormholes are related. There is the theoretical possibility of two blackholes being joined and forming a link between distant parts of the universe. I am not really up on this stuff. Maybe someone else could help you there. |
