oh god i cant balive it, all my dots and lines r mixed up ..... arrrrrrghhhhhh

i dont think it takes into account my spaces .... damn!!!! i spent sooooooo long trying to accurately place em! arrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhh!!!

try to draw this on a piece of paper,

the light clock:
two parallel plates with a photon right in between.....

the 4 pic series:
draw 4 of the light clocks u drew just then, but with a few centimeters of separation

then draw another 4 pic series, but this time, instead of placing the photons in the middle, do this:
draw a photon just above the bottom plate in pic1, a photon just below the top plate in pic2, another photon just above the bottom plate in pic3, and finally a photon below the top plate in pic4 ....

now join those photons, u should b able to form something like an upside-down letter 'W'

and i was refering to the distance of those diagonal lines, how they are longer than the measurement of the verticle distance in a stationary clock (as up and down are the only allowed dimensions)

oh god, i feel like im just confusing u ...... sorie sorie .... i like writing stuff down, it sorta helps me to refresh my memory on the concepts, i apologize if they r not eloquent enough :o)
