umm...does gravitons exist only when theres a curvature in space time?

so wat im asking is:
does gravitons exist if u are in a lift goin upwards at 10m/s(earth's gravity)?

wat is gravitons anyway?
they work like light?
exists only when theres blah blah blah?

ok speakin of this...wat is light?
its a photon and a wave at the same time?

i know some of these questions have been asked before but i forgot cos ive been studying for my exams...so pls?
