I Thought Entropy Only Increases Or Stays Constant?!

if the singuarity theorem bout the universe is correct ..... it implies that possibly other universes similar to ours existed before, but contracted with all of its compositions compressed to an infinite density .... but wait a minute ... by contracting to a singularity, did entropy decrease, and isnt that against the 2nd law of thermodynamics? or do i hav a diff situation here .... or are my definitions wrong? .... please feel free to contradict me ....
