If indeed there is a blacky at the center of our galaxy, is it possible that the stars and solar systems near the center of the spiral have already been consumed by the blackhole. since the light emitted by them would have a harder time escaping as it approached the event horizon eventually visably freezing and leaving no evidence that they have already been sucked in. Is this correct?
