Does Not, seem like a very cool immortality, to spend forever falling into a bottomless hole. Maybe if everyone and everything that you love and needed were along for the ride, then it might be worth it. But if it were just you and your spaceship forever falling falling falling, well it seems like big rip off if you ask me. Sort of like one of those personal hell kind of stories from the twilight zone.
