We are made out of atoms that were fused deep in the interior of stars billions of years ago. In the violent explosions of stars, these atoms are released to condense into planets and asteroids and find orbit around other stars. Then molecules of water form, and carbon based molecules, and life springs up on a planet taking energy from its neighboring star. They evolve for millions of years and become us. The universe is a living thing, you and I are a prime example. |
