I`m writing a story, and the idea i have is about earth being in jepordy due to a BH near the sun. My question is, is it possible for a BH to either open close enough to the sun to absorb it and our system, or somehow move to withinn our system.
Also, what are the probabilites of this and how long would it take for the solar system to be destroyed by this?
