Simply because someone tells you that faster than light travel is impossible is not reason to believe it to be 100% true. Einstien`s theory of relativity states not that exceeding the speed of light is impossible, but that nothing VISIBLE can exceed it. For example: a black hole is an object of such mass that not even light can excape its gravitational attraction. In order for that to happen the gravitational field must be strong enough to impel matter to EXCEED the speed of light. Einstien`s theory is not complete and he knew this to be true, after all he was the first one to predict that even relativity would break down under such gravitational influences. |
