You could possibly use an ultra-intense electromagnetic retaining field to isolate the anti-matter (should you have a sufficient amount) from the surrounding "matter" environment. The energy required to create such an EM field and to contain the matter's collapse would be asesninely high because the high mass matter would begin to exert its own swelling gravitational force on the retaining field The same kind of problems, though to a much lesser degree, occurs when trying to contain a fusion reaction.
