The 2nd dimension is a flat plan. One can fit an infinite number of flat planes in the 3rd dimension (just as one can fit an infinite number of points on a single line and an infinite number of lines in a flat plane). I'm sure anyone can undestand this and see the pattern. The name isn't important but the fourth dimension is a dimension into which we could fit an infinite number of 3rd dimensions, or "universes" as we call them.
