If you physically travelled back in time, surely the atoms which make up your physical being would return to 'their' physical locations at the point to which you travelled back!

For example if I were to send a pair of leather shoes back in time to when the cow, who's hide was used, was alive and in a field. I can see 3 possible events:

1 the cow develops holes, dependent upon where the atoms which comprise the shoes were at that moment.

2 the shoes disintegrate as the travel backwards takes place.

3 matter is created ! Identical to that which comprises the shoes.

What do you think?

Any comments or options would be great :-)

Mike
