Three sets of 6 dimensional compactifications plus two 4 dimensional spacetimes equals 18 + 8 = 26. I concur with the numbers, but the physics is beyond my understanding. It seems that the key issue is if in 10 dimensional superstring theory where 6 dimensions compactify to create fermions in 3 dimensional space, is there room or possibility of another 6 dimensional compactification. Otherwise the numbers do not work
