Infinities Cannot Exist

The infinite mass is a theoretical prediction that cannot be duplicated physically by any means. So the answer is that massive objects cannot be accelerated to the speed of light.

However, in particle accelerators massive particles like electrons can be accelerated to close to the speed of light and their measured masses are increased in accordance with the predictions of special relativity.

As far as I know the other properties of those electrons are unchanged,e.g., the electronic charge remains the same.
