I must say, that's quite an eloquent explaination.
To reduce it down into those terms for an un-educated idiot like me is quite an accomplishment.
But, I've never thought of gravity as a wave, only as a force, that's why I blasted that nasty comment about astrophysicists' wasting all that money on gravity wave research. So I have another question- Isn't string theory an off-shoot of wave theory?
