And it was the creation of space that created energy. The energy did not exist before the big bang. Anyway that is what the theory says. I cannot say that I really understand why. In Veliken's theory, it all started with a quantum fluctuation. So apparently there was a little extra energy in the fluctuation. But then the expansion input energy into the universe. But do not ask me how!
