The beginning of the Big Bang is a coherent effect in which the particles or fields are well ordered and not random. Therefore their temperature, in our terms, is essentially zero. It is only when randomness sets in from collisions of the particles that the temperature of the big bang increases to very high values. So temperature is a result of the big bang, not a cause. |
