In agreement with the cyclic universe of Sternhardt, the universe expands all morning, slows to a halt at noon, and contracts in the afternoon.

By nightfall the universe is too compressed for consciousness.

It shrinks until midnight and then begins re-expansion in what looks like a big bang to intelligent life billions of years later lookin' back intime with their telescopes.

All predicted by the cyclic universe, the latest cosmology.
